Global Investment Recovery Announces Expansion in Reno, Nevada

Tampa, Florida - Global Investment Recovery, Inc. (Global) an international electronics recycler, is gearing up for a significant expansion of its Reno, Nevada operations with the purchase of an 80,000 sq. ft. processing facility.

Global will continue to operate its current 55,000 sq. ft. location in Reno during the transition to the larger facility.  "Client requirements and market opportunities made it necessary to expand our Reno operation.  Global has enjoyed an excellent relationship with the local business community and has hired and trained all of our employees from the Reno area", says David Ritter, founder and CEO of Global.

The purchase of the new Reno facility will expand Global's operations to over 430,000 square feet.  In addition to the five (5) SSI shredding systems that Global currently owns and operates, the Company plans to install a second, more powerful shredder in Reno to handle ferrous & non-ferrous metals to increase overall productivity and efficiency. "Our industry remains fragmented, which means that significant opportunities for expansion still exist", Ritter explained.
Global specializes in product destruction, precious metals recovery and electronic recycling of computers, telecommunications equipment, and sensitive military electronics.  In addition to the Reno site, Global operates facilities in Tampa, Florida; Aiken County, SC; Tucson, Arizona, and Shreveport, Louisiana.

Incorporated in 1992, Global is one of only seven primary electronic recyclers selected for the Environmental Protection Agency/READ Contract.  Since 1999, Global has been a Primary Contractor for the Department of Defense for the demanufacturing of electronic equipment for the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Services.  Global also provides recycling services for OEMs, leasing companies and other large corporate entities.  Global Investment Recovery, Inc. is ISO 14001 certified.
